I started this quilt for an online challenge, but didn't finish it in time, mostly because I started sewing on seed beads and found it took much longer than I had imagined.  The pants are really jeans, the back cut off and appliqued to the top.  The background fabric was painted with gold paint, and each brick has a word in it.  The words in the bricks are all names I was called while growing up.  The beaded words on the pants are more positive views of the traits for which some people made fun of me.
